The Office of Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go visited the city of Alaminos in Pangasinan to provide assistance to struggling residents in Alaminos City, Dasol and Mabini.
The senator vowed that he will continue assisting the most disadvantaged communities across the country, listening to the concerns of vulnerable sectors, and providing necessary aid to help them cope with the challenges and sustain their daily necessities.
His team handed out snacks, masks and shirts to a total of 1,200 residents. They likewise gave away cellular phones, bicycles, shoes, and balls for basketball to select individuals. A team from the Department of Social Welfare and Development extended livelihood assistance to help uplift the lives of the residents.
As chair of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, Go urged all Pangasinense to remain vigilant and compliant with the recommended health protocols despite the latest order making the wearing of masks optional in open spaces, or non-crowded outdoor areas with good ventilation.
