Statuesque Brazilian fashion and TV commercial model Claudia Bezza was the winner in the most prestigious model competition in the world, Elite Model Look Brazil. Through her career, she has graced editorials and walked the runway for major international fashion brands such as Chanel, Versace, Fendi, Celine, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, and many others.
Claudia met the man of her dreams, Martin Yeung, in Hong Kong. When they tied the knot, Cebu became her home.
Recently, she launched her very own high-end fashion brand BEZZA Wear in a fabulous fashion show at the majestic Temple of Leah, also fondly referred to by locals and visitors as the Taj Mahal of Cebu. Tell us about BEZZA Wear.
BEZZA is an amalgamation of comfort and chic clothing with a casual and easy mood of dressing and style. It is created for the young, and young at heart. BEZZA allows a flawless transition from day wear to an evening ensemble.
What makes BEZZA Wear unique?
Each piece is versatile to be worn and styled in more ways than one. The clothing lines are expertly hand sewn and masterly stitched by local talented seamstresses and tailors to ensure the quintessential fit and comfort for all wearers.
What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion is an art in every sense of the word. It is a way of self-expression in an artistic manner through the use of fabrics and materials. When combined with vision, design and imagination, it becomes a piece of art for people to admire and enjoy.
What is your favorite part of being a designer?
It allows me to express my own passion in fashion through ideas and conceptualization and ultimately putting everything together into becoming a reality.
Where do you get your inspirations for BEZZA Wear?
BEZZA was created for and inspired by the modern woman— confident, powerful and sophisticated. It is having adaptable pieces of clothing that can be used in multiple ways and able to adapt to varied body types, without neglecting elegance, beauty and style.
Who inspires you?
First and foremost, God for giving me this wonderful talent. My husband Martin who is my pillar of strength and my son Ezra for the unexplained joy and happiness I feel in being a mom.
