Filipina rapper-songwriter Peaceful Gemini has released Leo Rising — a new EP shaped by her personal experiences, ideas, and beliefs.
The four-track collection captures the artist’s journey from introspection to
self-discovery to healing. She said each song reflects the reality of her struggles and learnings.
Leo Rising is produced by Skeematic, who is known for fusing classic boom bap beats with bohemian flair. His work complements Peaceful Gemini’s rap narrative with rawness and grit.

Other collaborators include Nicole Anjela on backup vocals in “Gising na Gising” and “Moment to Breathe,” and Nuevo in the romantic crossover track, “Twin Flame.”
The EP is the follow-up to Middle of NowHere, which explores spirituality and other themes within the context of hip hop.
In Leo Rising, the lead track “Moment to Breathe” addresses healing in a deeper perspective. “Being tasked to frontline a shift that can be so fragile as an old world dies and a new paradigm emerges,” Peaceful Gemini said. “I am facing it all, knowing that I am guided and blessed with the potential of a deeper understanding of an essence beyond me.”
