Police personnel get P7K service incentives

About 227,604 uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the Philippine National Police received their Service Recognition Incentives amounting to P7,000 last Wednesday, 4 January.

PNP chief, Police General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. said that based on the report received by the PNP Finance Service, all qualified PNP personnel received the uniform amount as per available fund for Personnel Services and Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses of the PNP.

Those who have rendered less than a total or an aggregate of four months of satisfactory service as of 30 November 2022 received a pro-rated share of: 40 percent

(3 months to less than 4 months), 30 percent (2 months to less than 3 months, 20 percent (1 month to less than 2 months 20 percent) and 10 percent (less than 1 month). The SRI amount received was subjected to  25 percent – 30 percent taxes under the TRAIN Law.

The release of one-time SRI to government workers through the order of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. under Executive Order 1 is in recognition of the collective and invaluable contribution to the government’s continuing efforts to ensure the responsive delivery of services to the public especially in the midst of the continuing public health emergency due to Covid-19 pandemic and other socio-economic challenges.
