As Asia today is in a period of renaissance as the center of change and massive development, I have been musing about my role in all these changes. I know that there is a sunrise that brightens the earth, and its light gives creation a new existence, that the darkness will give birth to a new creation as it must, so that all things will grow out of darkness into a wonderful spring, spiriting its energy in creating new life.
As the Asian Century is upon us, we as human beings bear witness to the enormous changes and development happening in our continent. It proves that for every winter there is a spring that speaks of hope and a brighter future.
The Creator molds the two aspects of humankind and creation into a circle. This is the Ying and the Yang which exist side by side as both are necessary to fulfill the Creator’s purpose. We exist in this planet to complete and complement this purpose so that the greatness of the Creator will shine forth. We exist to serve our Master Builder and by doing so, we are collaborators in the Divine Plan.

As we see 2023 unfold before us, we acknowledge and see the good work that each human being does to change our world for good. It is in this spirit of enlightenment that I have decided to pursue my life’s passion which is writing legacy books that inspire us, but more importantly, to inspire future generations of Filipinos.
I know that what we do defines who we are. I shall never know the number of people who have read my 45 books in the last 25 years, or will read these books, but at the end of the day, my subjects and my readers will validate my life’s work.

I know that my books will outlive my life here on earth. So, I focus my energies into producing the best quality, collectible social history books that focus on the legacies of the human spirit. I wake up each blessed morning filled with deep joy as I thank God for all His wonderful blessings and graces that continue to give me the creativity, drive and passion to create books. This is life defining for me and has become my life’s work. Long after we have gone from this earth, the power of the written word remains to create lasting impressions on those who read my books and hopefully change us all for the better. For truly, it is when we have stretched our limits, broken through all the challenges and barriers and grasped what we thought were beyond our reach, that we become avatars or the very embodiment of the causes and ideals we ultimately live for.
