In celebration of its 15th anniversary, LGBTQ+ organization Babaylanes will hold “Lesbian Pride Stories: A Conversation with the Pioneers of the First Lesbian March in the Philippines” on 17 February 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at the Seminar Room, University of the Philippines College of Social Work and Community Development, UP Diliman, Quezon City. The event will also be livestreamed through the Babaylanes Facebook page.
The discussion will highlight the pioneering lesbian women of the LGBTQ+ movement in the Philippines.
The event is held in partnership with the UP Center for Women’s and Gender Studies, Democratic Socialist Women of the Philippines, and UP Babaylan.
