The City of Manila and MARE Foundation, together with VIVA Live, once again team up to crown the Miss Manila 2018.

On its fifth year, Miss Manila is not only looking for a woman of beauty, but also of empowerment. She is socially aware and embodies a true Manileña with grace, passion and optimism.

In celebration of Araw Ng Maynila, under the decree of Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada, proceeds of this year’s pageant will benefit MARE Foundation, a non-profit institution headed by its chairperson and the pageant director, Jackie Ejercito.

The official candidates for Miss Manila 2018 are:

Kayla Fajardo, 10. Paulina Labayo, 11. Malka Suaver, 12. Ma. Flordeliza Mabao, 13. Katrina Racelis, 14. Dyan Shane Mag-abo, 15. Leitz Camyll Ang, 16. Therese Marie Marguerette Gaston, 17. Lois Sta Maria, 18. Maria Lianina Macalino, 19. Nikki Lim Sotelo, 20. Agatha Lei Romero, 21. Sheika Hanna Galang, 22. Christine Roazol, 23. Joanna Day, 24. Angelique Mae Santos, 25. The grand coronation night will be held on June 26, 8 p.m. at Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Reception Hall. TV airing will be on July 1, on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best, after Gandang Gabi Vice.

There will be P1,000,000 worth of prizes (P500,000 cash plus a Viva Management contract worth P500,000) for Miss Manila; P350,000 for the 1st Runner-Up; P250,00 for the 2nd Runner-Up; P150,000 for the 3rd Runner-Up and P100,000 for the 4th Runner-Up.

The winner will also represent the City of Manila in different functions and events.
