A concerned citizen tipped off the police on a pot session in Makati City yesterday, leading to the arrest of four persons.
Caught allegedly while in the middle of using drugs were Lea de Guzman, 35; Celestino Ramos, 45; Joel Aguda, 45 and Ronnie Boy Prestado, 32.
De Guzman and Ramos are residents of Barangay Rizal, while Aguda and Prestado are residents of Barangay West Rembo.
Police Officers 2 Larry Sanchez and John Michael Paras swooped down on the house of Aguda at 25 A. Mabini Street in West Rembo at around 3:40 a.m.
The policemen recovered four sachets of suspected shabu, aluminium foils and two pieces of improvised pipes.
In Paranaque City, drug charges were slapped against four persons, including two minors, arrested Sunday evening.
Nabbed were Ryan Jan San Juan and Richard Abajero, both 19 and residents of Barangay Moonwalk. Arrested with them were two 17-year-old boys whose identities were concealed being minors.
All four are students, with San Juan and Abajero now detained at the Parañaque police detention facility. The minors were turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
The suspects were arrested by Police Officers 1 Rey Mamano and Patricia Samanta Roldan when they were conducting “Oplan Galugad” at around 8:30 p.m. at Multinational Village in Barangay Moonwalk.
Seized from the suspects were marijuana leaves and drug paraphernalia.
