President Rodrigo Duterte and Special Assistant to the President Bong Go joined the celebration of the 127th anniversary of the Philippine Bar Association (PBA) Wednesday night, 15 August at the The Manila Hotel.

Duterte and Go, as special guests, were treated to a musical concert dubbed “Some Enchanted Evening: PBA@127” as part of the celebration.

The PBA is considered the oldest voluntary national organization for lawyers in the country being established on 18 April 1891.

PBA aims to promote active fellowship among its members, strengthen the dignity and ethics of the legal profession and help maintain a strong, trustworthy and courageous jurisdiction.

The organization helps Filipinos by providing legal assistance to the poor and funding assistance to entrepreneurs.
