LUBAO, Pampanga — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a newly-paved rural road in Barangay San Matias which is expected to help the local farmers much need accessibility to the Central business district here.
According to DPWH Regional Office 3 director Roseller Tolentino, the upgrading of 264-linear-meter gravel to concrete road in Barangay San Matias was implemented by the DPWH Pampanga Second District Engineering Office.
He added that the construction started in February 2022 and was completed in just three months.
DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan said that with the improved road, farmers will be able to easily transport their equipment and produce from farmlands to market centers in their town and province.
