The Partido Demokratiko Pilipino Lakas ng Bayan (PDP Laban) through a resolution has bestowed the highest degree of commendation and appreciation on President Fidel Valdez Ramos in recognition of his exemplary service to the Republic of the Philippines.
PDP Laban members led by Party President Alfonso Cusi, Membership Committee Chair Astra Pimentel, and Livelihood Committee Chair Reymar Mansilungan, presented the resolution of Remembrance to former First Lady Amelita “Ming” Ramos on Sunday, August 7.
Based on the National Executive Committee Resolution No. 28, series of 2022, the PDP Laban recognizes the contributions of former President Ramos stating that “the legacy of FVR is one that deserves the highest degree of honor from a grateful nation. President Fidel Valdez Ramos served his country splendidly and impressively. His achievements and accomplishments as a soldier and public servant are most worthy of remembrance and acclaim.”
The resolution also read that “FVR’s numerous awards, citations, and commendations are a testament to his superb and outstanding qualities as a leader and a statesman. He was an international figure who was respected and admired here and abroad.”
“This resolution signifies our unity with the whole nation in mourning for the loss of a great leader,” Cusi said.
