BAGUIO CITY — The Baguio City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) announced on Tuesday that the temperature at the City of Pines continues to drop.
Data from the CDRRMC Operations Center disclosed that the lowest temperature as of 5 a.m. of 9 August 2022 is at 15.4 degrees Celsius with the chilling effect more evident with the moderate to strong blow of wind and scattered rainshowers caused by the monsoon being experienced in the country.
The average temperature of Baguio ranges from 15 to 23 degrees Celsius. The coldest temperature of the city was recorded at 6.3 degrees Celsius on 18 January 1961.
Authorities are reminding the public to wear protection from the cold and keep themselves warm.
