‘Wickedly wild’: Pure pleasure at Cocoy Cordoba’s birthday bash

Dark, delicious, and deliriously fun was the birthday celebration of interior designer and my BFF Luis “Cocoy” Cordoba — who turned 66 on 28 July at the Cove Manila in Okada.

His party theme was “Wickedly Wild,” the attire motif strictly black — the guest with the least clothing winning the grand prize.

I knew things would get spicy!

Cove Manila was transformed into a carefree paradise as guests lived out their wildest fantasies.

Gorgeous masked men and women with nothing but body paint and skimpy underwear danced around us, served canapés and drinks, and laid down on the counter with food on their bodies for us to partake.

This stands to be my party of the year — pure pleasure with my party people in attendance.

We didn’t miss the chance to have a “taste” of the “call of the flesh” — all for fun.

The finest drinks like Macan, Patron and champagne flowed that night.

Likewise, the best DJs provided the music — thanks to my husband Wopsy Zamora — Rocky Enciso (of Stargazer fame) from the US and Mike Yabut (from Studebaker’s).

I had a blast dancing ’till morning together with my 100 party people — all from my own guest list. So gracious of the birthday boy to allow me to invite that many guests to party with!

Thanks to my BFF! I can tell you it’s worth every peso — all six figures of it. No one else can pull off such an event.
Happy birthday, Cocoy, cheers!
