Under the leadership of NavotaAs Hanapbuhay Center, the staff of various departments of the Navotas city government and representatives from several departments of the national government conducted a Strategic Planning Workshop for the Navotas Livelihood Program.
According to Mayor John Rey Tiangco, the workshop discussed the economic projects currently underway in Navotas and the steps to improve their implementation.
Also, the programs that can be implemented to further extend the economic services that the city government can offer to Navoteños have been also laid out.
Meanwhile, Mayor Toby Tiangco attended the blessing and soft opening of the renovated Market 3 at the fish port.
The mayor said that once the two floors are completed, more livelihoods and businesses will be created for Navoteños.
“Congratulations to the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority on the 46th year of their establishment. We wish them continued promotion of a high-quality and globally competitive fisheries sector.”
