CLARK FREEPORT— The Department of Tourism (DoT) on Thursday awarded this premier freeport as the second top destination in Central Luzon for its contribution to the tourism industry
In a simple awarding ceremony, DoT-R3 Regional Director Carolina D. Uy conferred the Certificate of Recognition to Clark Development Corporation (CDC), the first time that the agency has won the award.
The awarding ceremony was held at the Clark Visitor’s Center, with CDC Vice President for Administration and Finance Engr. Mariza O. Mandocdoc accepting the award.
“Today’s awarding is the fruition of hard work to promote the Tourism of Clark Freeport Zone. This award can be attributed to the active and diligent efforts of promoting sports tourism, your parade of world-class hotels, your parade of compliant hotels, and of course, not to mention, your entertainment facilities, your theme parks, your golf courses, as well as the world-class Clark International Airport,” she said.
