AirAsia reopens Cebu hub for domestic and international flights

AirAsia Philippines reopened Tuesday its Cebu hub, which will serve domestic and international flights from Cebu to Cagayan de Oro, Boracay, Davao, Manila, Puerto Princesa, Seoul and Kuala Lumpur.

AirAsia Ph chief executive officer Ricky Isla said this is the beginning of the airline’s expansion into more domestic and international destinations.

AirAsia Ph has four flight schedules a week from Cebu to Cagayan de Oro, three flights a week to Boracay and four flights a week to Davao from Cebu, while there are four flights daily to Manila and three flights weekly to Puerto Princesa.

AirAsia Ph has also opened three flights weekly to Seoul, South Korea and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, announced Isla.

With AirAsia’s Cebu hub, passengers from Cebu and neighboring provinces no longer need to pass through Manila to reach their destinations.
