Three kilos of shabu with an estimated street value of P20.4 million were seized Monday in buy-bust operations conducted by operatives of the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
The drug sting was conducted past noon along Varsity Lane West, Barangay Pasong Tamo in Quezon City.
Arrested were Jerome Labita, 20; and John Lester Lacaba Manipol, 24, both residents of Quezon City.
The first haul was for one kilo of crystal meth worth P6,800,000 followed by the confiscation of two kilos of shabu with an estimated value of P13,600.
As in recent big drug busts by PDEA and the PNP, the shabu was packed as Chinese tea bags.
