Senate Blue Ribbon Committee chair Francis Tolentino on 17 August said the panel will start its investigation on the sugar importation mess on 23 August.
The committee will also dig into the purchase of “overpriced” laptops for the Education Department by the Procurement Service of Budget Department and Management.
