‘Bold and Beautiful’: Connie Quirino holds second art exhibit

It’s been a long time coming.

Connie Quirino’s recent solo art exhibit, Bold and Beautiful, is only her second — 21 years after her debut show in 2001.

Bold and Beautiful is a 57-piece collection celebrating life and its wonders.

Friends, family, and distinguished guests came in full force to congratulate Quirino and view her works at the Fashion Interiors in Makati.

Coincidentally, it was also her birthday, which made the event even more special.

Among the art enthusiasts spotted at the event was former ABS-CBN president Freddie Garcia, who bought two paintings, Supermoon and Daybreak.

All proceeds from the exhibit went to the Nurture the Children Foundation.

Likewise, in attendance was Leon Gallery founder and director Jaime Ponce de Leon, who personally asked Quirino to let him know when her third exhibit is happening. So exciting!

The artist most probably inherited her talent from her grandfather, former President Elpidio Quirino, who used to draw portraits of personalities in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

But her passion, drive and growth are all hers. I can’t wait to see more creations from this lovely lady.

Congratulations again, Connie Quirino, on this milestone. Hats off to Fashion Interior Arts manager Michaela Villamor for a successful event.

Bravo!
