Cebu Pacific boosts Cebu -Seoul flights

The Cebu Pacific announced the airline would continue to expand its Cebu hub as it ramps up its direct flights to Seoul, South Korea.

Starting 9 September, CEB will increase its flights from Cebu to Seoul (Incheon) to a daily operation from its current twice-a-week flights.

CEB Corporate Communications Director Carmina Reyes-Romero said that these additional flights would enable more passengers from Visayas and Mindanao to fly to South Korea any day of the week, so they may finally make their travel dreams a reality. This ramp-up, just two months after the route, is a testament to their commitment to everyone and reflects the travel demand amongst Filipinos and foreigners.

She added that the CEB flight 5J 128 is scheduled to depart Mactan Cebu International Airport at 12:25 p.m. and arrive in Seoul at around 6:10 p.m. (Korea local time). Its return flight, 5J 129, is scheduled to depart Seoul at 6:55 p.m. and arrive in Cebu at 10:50 p.m. (Philippine local time).

CEB currently flies to Cebu from 22 domestic destinations namely: Bacolod, Boracay, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calbayog, Camiguin, Clark, Coron, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Legazpi, Manila, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban and Zamboanga.

Romero also said that with their extensive domestic network IN and OUT of Cebu, they are happy to provide more flight connections to their passengers. They also hope this encourages everyone to fly more and travel internationally for less via Cebu Pacific.

Fully vaccinated travelers flying to Seoul must bring their negative Covid-19 test result took 48 hours before departure, a valid vaccination certificate, and a filled-out foreigner registration card.
