Task Group Jovelyn launched in Palawan

The Puerto Princesa City Police Office (PPCPO) launched Special Investigation Task Group Jovelyn for the quick resolve of the case of Jovelyn Galleno, who went missing on 5 August  2022 in Palawan.

According to PCpt. Victoria Carmen C. Iquin, of the PPCPO, base on the CCTV footage they gathered from inside and outside Robinsons Mall where the victim works, she was riding a white multicab from Robinsons Mall to Sta. Lourdes.

Although the CCTV footage is not clear, her family confirmed that it was Jovelyn who rode in the white multicab based on her actions, built and height.

The police tracked down the driver of the multicab and during their interrogation, the driver said he could not remember if Jovelyn was his passenger because of the number of his passengers that day and they were all wearing a mask.

It can be recalled that Jovelyn Galleno, 22, Criminology student, has been missing for 12 days now, which still a conundrum to the authorities even to her family.

Her family and friends described Jovelyn as a kind and loving, who only focused on work and her studies whose only dream was to graduate to help her family.

Jovelyn’s family pleaded to the public that instead of giving negative comments on social media, help them pray for Jovelyn’s safely return.
