Operatives of the Manila Police District (PS-9) arrested two persons and confiscated more than P2.5 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation on Wednesday morning in Malate Manila.
P/Lt.Col. Salvador Tangdol MPD-PS9 station commander identified the suspects as; Joen Gan Jr. y Fugueroa 28 yr old , jobless, and resident of 0906 Honorato Romero Street, Tanza, Cavite; Micaella Malto y Bautista 26 female , waitress, and resident of 2186 Zafiro Diamante, San Andres Bukid, Manila.
It was learned that the suspect made a transaction of sale of the said illegal drugs to police asset for which they were arrested in a buy-bust after the exchanges of money and drugs at the meet place along San Andres Street corner Osmeña Highway, Malate Manila on Wednesday 10:40 a.m. where they offered no resistance to lawmen.
Confiscated items include: One blue sling bag; three pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; two pieces of knot-tied transparent plastic containing white crystalline substance; one Caliber .38 revolver loaded with six ive ammunition; Six P50 bill and buy-bust money.
Presently detained at MPD-PS 9 was the suspect who will be charged for violation of Section 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 and Violation of RA 10591(Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) at the Manila City Prosecutors Office.
