A “more comprehensive” feedback mechanism is being crafted by the Office of the Press Secretary to enable President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s administration to be “more responsive” to the needs of the people.
“At present, we continue to craft a more comprehensive feedback mechanism to give everyone the voice to react to our policies and programs,” Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles wrote in a social media post.
She acknowledged the importance of public feedback on the performance of government agencies, including the OPS.
aid part of the OPS’ mandate is to also hear the Filipinos’ sentiments, not just to disseminate information on policies, programs, and achievements of the Marcos administration.
To further connect with the Filipinos, Angeles officially joined TikTok as a content creator.
Her first TikTok video is an entry showing how she prepares herself for a press briefing.
She said the government would be monitoring social media platforms to get immediate responses from netizens.
