OVP helping small entrepreneurs

Aside from medical and burial assistance, the Office of Vice President will also launch a livelihood program that aims to help people who want to put up a small business.

Lawyer Reynold Munsayac, spokesperson for Vice President Sara Z. Duterte, said the OVP will provide training opportunities to those who want to become entrepreneurs.

“We will give opportunities for small businesses,” Munsayac told this reporter in an interview over the weekend.

Munsayac said they will provide financial aid to LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender] community, women, and even men who need funding for their business.

“The good thing here is that it includes training as a support system, because sometimes when you give money to do business but there is no corresponding training, you will just lose money,” Munsayac added.
