The head of the Jobs Group of the Private Sector Advisory Council said yesterday that they are set to launch “Kapatid Angat Lahat,” a public-private sector partnership initiative promoting inclusive economic growth.
Businessman Joey Concepcion said that the program will use Go Negosyo’s framework of providing micro, small and medium enterprises access to capitalization, markets and business mentoring.
The Kapatid Angat Lahat Program is set to be launched this Friday, 26 August at Manila Hotel.
Included among the projects under the program is a
one-stop-shop platform for MSMEs where they can access business opportunities, information, and the linkages needed to operate their businesses.
Among available mentoring are legal business registration and operational requirements, formalizing informal businesses, financial capital support options, micro-loans and market access.
In addition, the program will also facilitate how large corporations can help MSMEs scale up their operations.
“The battle cry is ‘Pilipinas Angat Lahat’, or Prosperity for All,” Concepcion said.
The said program is among the priority programs outlined in the five proposals presented to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. last August 17 by Concepcion and members of the Jobs Group of PSAC.
The government is aspiring to bring unemployment to a single-digit level.
