A woman’s narrow wrist is delicate and more prone to injuries than a man’s. But the female inner wrist is also considered an erogenous spot.
“It’s got a lot of nerve endings,” says sex educator Kate McCombs, M.P.H., a NYC-based sex educator and founder of Sex Geekdom. “It’s right at that pulse point, and it’s that first stage of when your body starts become more intimate.”
A woman’s wrist, when highlighted then with an accessory such as a metal cuff reminiscent of super heroes like Darna and Wonder Woman, instantly conveys that strong and sensual
feminine-mannish vibe.
As people are starting to step out of their comfort zones, ready to go out and celebrate the near-end of the Covid era (with fingers crossed and masks still on, that is), everything’s big and stacked in the sphere of fashion accessories. At the Fall 2022 global fashion shows, for instance, stacked bangles were the trend.
Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection, presented big bangles in pastel colors; at Yves Saint Laurent, creative director Anthony Vaccarello envisioned statement bangle pieces.
Fashion brands such as Hermés, Louis Vuitton, Balmain, Loewe, Alexander McQueen and other major houses of style also resonated the trend.
A good thing about wearing stacked bangles and cuffs? Wear anything with them, even something as plain as a black dress or something ordinary like a t-shirt and old jeans — and watch how these jewelry pieces will turn a woman’s look into a fierce statement.
