ONIC upsets Blacklist, Omega sweeps NXPE on Week 3 of MPL Season 10

The revamped roster of ONIC PH pulled off the biggest shocker yet of the tournament following a highly impressive sweep over Blacklist International on Week 3 Day of MPL Season 10 this Friday evening.

Composed Sensui, Ryota, Nets, Rapidoot, and SUPER FRINCE, ONIC PH banked on the new tank jungler backed by Irithel in the final stanza and close the series at the 20:36 mark of Game 2.

“We did not expect to win by sweep we just wanted to score at least one game,” ONIC mid laner SUPER FRINCE admitted after the match.

Omega Esports, meanwhile, now sits atop the ladder with a 4-1 standing following a sweep over Nexplay EVOS.

Notoriously known for having awful starts in past MPL seasons, Omega Esports coach Pakbet says the team is working doubly hard at the moment to secure the top seed en route to the Playoffs.

“We have been in MPL for a long time and we really want to win a championship. All of my players are grinding so we could get the lead and make a sweep come to the Playoffs,” Pakbet said.

“I just told my players to enjoy and we need to give our best every match. Everything is working; the different play styles and compositions.”
