An alleged member of the dreaded Commando gang was shot dead on dawn of Tuesday while walking near Gate 10 of Pier 2 in Parola Compound, Tondo, Manila.
Police identified the victim as Mark Ryan Pellingon, who succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds in different parts of the body, homicide prober P/Ssg. John Paul Rojo said.
The victim was walking to his home near where he was gunned down by a still unidentified assailant who casually fled the scene of the crime.
Pellingon was declared dead on arrival at the Gat. Andres Bonifacio Memorial Hospital. The victim’s body was brought to the Cruz Funeral Homes for autopsy and safekeeping.
