BTS submits ‘Yet To Come’ for Grammys

BTS is at it again.

The K-pop group has submitted its latest album, Yet To Come, for consideration at the 65th Grammy Awards in the following categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Duo/Group Performance, and Best Music Video.

In 2021, BTS was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for its single “Dynamite.” They were nominated again for the same category the following year, this time for “Butter.”

The group has yet to win its first Grammy.

BTS’ recent Recording Academy submission comes after its Yet To Come concert held at the Asiad Stadium on 14 October. The free show, featuring members RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, and Jin, aims to aid South Korea’s Busan to host the 2030 World Expo.

“It is expected that BTS, who has been exerting good influence for many years, and its fan club ARMY, who has exemplified good behavior, will form a consensus on attracting Busan and spread its legitimacy and public aspirations effectively around the world,” Lee Seung-woo, director of the Overseas Expo Outreach Division, told Daily Tribune.

Aside from Busan, other cities vying to host World Expo 2030 are Rome in Italy, Odesa in Ukraine, and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
