A fisherman was killed after sustaining a flurry of bullets in Malabon City, Monday before dawn.
The victim was identified as Rolando Suangco, 43 of Monroy, Brgy. Navotas West.
According to the investigation conducted by PSSg. Ernie Baroy and PSSg. Diego Ngippol od Malabon City Police, tje incident rook place while the victim was sitting in the gutter of the road along Women’s Club St., Brgy. Hulong Duhat, Malabon City, at 2:10 midnight.
The two suddenly arrived, one of them immediately pulled out an unknown caliber gun and for unknown reason shot the victim several times in the head and body.
After the incident, the suspects quickly fled to the direction of M. Naval St. Brgy. Hulong Duhat, while the victim was rushed to the said hospital by the responding personnel of Sub-Station 7, but was not lucky to survive.
The responding SOCO personnel at the crime scene recovered four shell casings, a metal jacket and a deformed bullet while the police are still investigating the motive behind the shooting.
The follow-up investigation is still ongoing regarding the identity and motive of the suspects in killing the victim.
