PAL confident of full bounce

Philippine Airlines has expressed optimism in achieving 100 percent domestic air travel this holiday season.

PAL president and chief operating officer, Captain Stanley Ng, said that this will also likely be the result of a continuous increase in the demand for local travel in the country during the said period.
“So far, PAL recovered 90 percent of domestic air travel,” Ng added.

Nearing 70% level

Meanwhile, PAL is expected to reach 70 percent of the pre-pandemic level of recovery for its international sales in December.

PAL also confirmed that the airline has raised its revenue target to $2.6 billion by the end of 2022.

According to PAL management, the previous target of $2-billion revenue for the year has already been met in the month of October alone.
