Inamin ng aktres na si Antoinette Taus na kahit single pa rin siya hanggang ngayon at wala pa ring anak, masaya niyang tinatanggap kung ito na ang kaniyang magiging kapalaran.
“Ang dami sa amin may mga anak na, ako wala pa rin,” sabi ni Antoinette.”At siyempre maraming mag-o-object and a lot of people still think I do have kids, but I really don’t, it’s not something naman I would hide.”
“Actually, I am one of those people that, I’m sure you’ve met individuals that have also made the choice na, maybe marriage is not for them. Maybe kids are not for them and for me kasi, it’s not really about thinking of, ‘Do I want a husband or kids? Or do I want to take that path on right now?’” saad pa niya.
Gusto pa rin ni Antoinette na magkapamilya, pero kung hindi ito ang ipagkakaloob sa kaniya, wala siyang magiging problema rito.
“I really truly believe in accepting what God has laid out for me and open naman ako sa lahat ng ‘yan kasi feeling ng iba ayaw ko naman, ‘Oh my God, I don’t want to date, I’m against all that.’ Of course not. I love kids,” saad ng dalaga.
Dagdag pa niya, ayaw niyang magambala ng mga alalahanin kung hindi man niya mahanap ang kaniyang “The One” o hindi magkaanak.
“What if I don’t find the one, or I don’t meet the one? Or what if I’m someone that cannot have kids or I’m not able to have kids because I don’t find the one? All these different what ifs… I didn’t want them to dictate my happiness, or my sense of fullfillment in life,” paliwanag niya.
Hindi rin daw pupuwersahin ni Antoinette ang sarili kung wala man siyang ka-date.
Pero paglilinaw niya, handa niyang tanggapin kung darating ang lalaki na “who can support you, love you, and catapult you into even more greatness.”
“Once again, I’m open to it whatever God has planned, pero hoping that people find empowerment and strength in realizing that it’s also not just about that,” ayon pa kay Antoinette.
