Tech-enabled express logistics company Ninja Van Philippines has found in a survey that 19 percent of Filipinos are considered e-shopaholics and they contribute to almost half of the total e-commerce purchases in the country.
The NVP survey conducted during the third week of July 2023 also found that 86 percent of Filipino e-shopaholics buy directly from social media, 54 percent buy directly from brands they already follow and 44 percent buy items recommended by influencers.
The top product categories of Filipino e-shopaholics are beauty and healthcare, fashion, small furniture and home decor.
