A member of the dreaded jail gang Batang City Jail was gunned down and stabbed dead by his fellow gangmate early dawn Sunday in Muelle de la Industria corner San Miguel Road, Binondo, Manila.
The victim, identified as Reggie Agregado, 37, truck helper, a member of the BCJ of 565 Delpan Street, Tondo, Manila died due to bullet wound and multiple stab wounds in the body.
The suspect, identified as Allenson Contreras, 37, also a member of the BCJ and a Tondo resident, fled with his companion who served as lookout, aboard a tricycle after ensuring the victim was dead.
Eyewitness Vanessa May Salamante said they were drinking liquor with the victim and some of their friends when the suspect arrived aboard a tricycle.
Suspect alighted the vehicle then pulled a gun and started firing at the suspect. The victim managed to run away but was chased by the suspect. When the victim fell to the ground, the suspect reportedly started stabbing him and once again fired his gun at the victim’s temple before escaping to an undetermined direction.
