Lions, Leos roar at 60th SEA forum

The 60th Orient and South East Asia Lions forum will be hosted by Lions Clubs International Multiple District 301 — Philippines on 2 to 5 November at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The forum is expected to attract 10,000 Lions Clubs members from the Philippines, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Guam, Malaysia, Thailand, and other countries in Southeast Asia.

Lions International president Dr. Patti Hill and other international executive officers are expected to attend. Past International Director Michael So will preside as the Forum Chairperson.

As the largest service club organization in the world,  Lions has more than 1.3 million members in 49,000 clubs serving 200 countries and geographic areas worldwide.

The OSEAL forum serves as a platform for Lions and Leos to come together, share their experiences and service stories, and gain access to training and key objectives of Lions International.

The 60th OSEAL forum, with the theme of “Steadfast Together,” will kick off with the International President’s Golf Cup to be held at the Villamor Air Base Golf Course in Pasay City on 2 November.

The Young Leos will have a Special Olympics service project during the forum. Seminars on improving club services, membership growth, and retention will also be conducted.
