A ‘daydream’ benefit abused kids and women

I still look back at one of the most glamorous nights that recently unfolded in the universe. Our dear friend Maria Charo Calalo invited us to Daydreaming in Spring, a fashion and awards charity gala she produced to benefit the abused children and women of Ang Bahay Parola in Laguna.

Okada Manila’s grand ballroom, decked out in lush, grandiose florals, was the backdrop for the event’s gorgeous and dashing guests: society VIPs, film and TV celebrities, beauty queens, and the Philippines’ Most Exceptional Women and Men of 2022.

As for the other main event, the gala featured the works of three talented fashion designers: Christine Lam, Mars Galang and Julie Villapaz. Such beautiful concepts and intricate designs!

Bravo to the people behind the daydream-turned-reality. This gala would not have been beautiful and successful without Tiger Lim, event stylist; Anshari Gang Alonto, show director; and Mrs. Universe Philippines 2019/2020 and Mrs. Universe Philippines national director, dear Maria Charo Calalo.

I had a fantastic time being glammed up and enjoying the amazing show, great food, live music and dancing at the afterparty.

Special thanks to Tonyboy Floirendo for extending the party till 2am. That’s how we do it! Cheers!
