Former drug addicts undergo outpatient treatment in Caloocan.
According to Mayor Along Malapitan, with the help of the Community-Assisted Rehabilitation and Research Outpatient Treatment and Training System, those who had previously lost their way were given the opportunity to restart their lives.
Last Wednesday, the local government made them also beneficiaries of the Tulong Panghanapbuhay para Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced workers program.
“Hopefully this will somehow lead to their continuous return to our community as an important part of our city, because they are also our fellow citizens of Caloocan,” according to the mayor.
