The deceased were identified as Adulkadir Matuwa, 53; his wife Zahera Matuwa, 32; and their daughter Nhala, 5, residents of Sitio Pamalian Barangay Manungkaling Mamasapano Maguindanao.
Based on the report of the Mamasapano Police, the heinous crime took place inside the house of the Matuwa family.
Based on the preliminary investigation, the suspects, armed with 5.56 automatic rifles, entered the house of the victims and riddled them with bullets.
Soldiers and police immediately responded to the area and found the victims lifeless and bloodied, while the baby was seen sleeping in the cradle.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
