SBG aids vulnerable Tarlac residents

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go’s team mounted a relief operation for 1,000 disadvantaged residents in San Manuel, Tarlac.

In his video message, Sen. Go reiterated his appeal for those who are eligible to complete their vaccine and booster shots against Covid-19, underscoring how vaccines are key to attaining population protection.

Following the first declared case of monkeypox in the country, the senator reminded Filipinos to continue adhering to the government’s mandated health preventive measures to help prevent infectious diseases from spreading.

Go’s outreach team held the relief effort on Tuesday, 2 August, at the Cultural Center in Barangay Poblacion where they provided relief items, such as masks, snacks and shirts to the residents. Select individuals were also provided with bicycles and shoes.

In line with his priority to ensure that Filipinos are healthy, Go, who was reelected as head of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, reassured the public with health concerns that the Tarlac Provincial Hospital located in Tarlac City has a Malasakit Center where they can conveniently avail of medical assistance from the government to help them settle their hospital expenses.
