The Navotas city government and Persons with Disability Affairs Office distributed the cash assistance for the PWD scholars.
About 397 scholars for the 2021-2022 school year received their P2,000.00 allowance for the months of April to July.
For scholars who have not claimed their cash assistance, just go to the PDAO at Navoserve, Navotas City Hall Annex on 15 August, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
According to Mayor John Rey Tiangco, those who wish to get this scholarship, can contact the PDAO for more information.
Meanwhile, Congressman Toby Tiangco congratulated those who graduated from the Alternative Learning System including 74 year old grandma, Urbana Señal Navarrete who graduated from Kapitbahayan Elementary School.
Lola Urbana’s graduation just goes to show that no matter what age a person is, they can graduate in school if they work hard.
