Singapore Ambassador to the Philippines Gerard Ho hosted the Singapore National Day reception on 9 August to mark the 57th anniversary of the city state.
Business leaders, government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, Singapore nationals, notable names and faces in Philippine society converged at the ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Manila.
Following the brief program with Ambassador Ho giving a heartfelt extemporaneous speech and Vice President Sara Duterte’s response, the guests were treated to Singaporean specialties prepared by the Grand Hyatt Manila’s chefs.
