Travel bugs and lovers of the good life can “Eat. Stay. Love” even this rainy season with the much-awaited September Online Sale of the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association of the Philippines.
Now on its third year, the online travel mart will run for the whole month of September and will showcase an array of hospitality packages such as staycations, rejuvenating spa experiences, group tours, and food and beverage deals.
“From a 15-day event in our first year, we’ve planned a month-long travel mart,” says HSMA president Benjie Martinez, also the area director of sales and Marketing for Bayleaf Hotels. “We are also including the ancillary services of the properties such as restaurants, bars, banquet packages, spa, gym and pool, and other hotel facilities to make this year’s campaign more thrilling and inviting.”
Last year’s SOS sold over 5,100 vouchers, or equivalent to P29.2 million in gross sales. The first SOS was held in 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic to prepare for the eventual reopening of the tourism industry.
The 42-year old HSMA Philippines is the country’s leading group of hotel sales and marketing executives, with members from some 140 hotel and resort properties.
The exciting deals, which can be booked through www.hsma.org.ph/sos, allow tourists and travelers to discover the charm of the countryside and avail themselves of discount offers on restaurants, meetings and conferences packages, and banquets.
The month-long online fair showcases 78 resorts and hotels in Metro Manila, the Calabarzon Region, Boracay, Palawan, Bohol, Cebu and Davao.
Vouchers bought during the sale will have no expiry date, and packages may be availed of through secured online payment platforms, including the event’s official partner, Maya.
Participating establishments in Manila are Bayview Park Hotel, Diamond Hotel, Hotel Lucky Chinatown, The Bayleaf Intramuros and Winford Resort and Casino.
