With the Metro Manila Subway Project construction finally in full swing, motorists have already been advised to avoid the northbound and southbound areas of Meralco Avenue and Pasig City.
Despite the road closure that kicked off on 3 October and will run until the year 2028 — a good six years of not being accessible to motorists
— a 250-meter portion of Meralco Avenue will be closed to give way to the construction of the subway system.
Part of the closure will cover the front section of Capitol Commons up to the corner of Shaw Boulevard, Ortigas Land has identified four alternative entry points for guests who intend to enter Capitol Commons, namely: Shaw Boulevard cor. Camino Verde Road; Meralco Avenue cor. Anda Road; Meralco Avenue to Estancia West Wing Basement Parking; and Capt. Henry P. Javier Road.
Ortigas Land, developer of Capitol Commons and Estancia Mall, assure that its residential, office and retail properties willl continue to be fully operational despite the closure. Guests and residents alike can still enjoy its exciting offers and services.
