On 8 and 9 October 2022, the Embassy of Malaysia in Manila held a golf tournament and a bowling tournament as part of its Hari Sukan Negara 2022 or National Sports Day 2022.
Eighteen embassy officials and Malaysian diaspora took part in the golf tournament held at the Pradera Verde Golf & Country Club. Meanwhile, the bowling tournament, held at the Superbowl Bowling Center in Makati Square, saw the participation of 35 embassy officials, spouses, families, and local staff.
Hari Sukan Negara is an annual event realizing the Malaysian government’s aspiration to encourage Malaysians to lead a healthier lifestyle and to make sports a culture.
The celebration of National Sports Day 2022 was held simultaneously throughout Malaysia and its Embassies around the world from 7 to 9 October 2022. The launching ceremony was held on 8 October in Putrajaya.
