10 nabbed in QC drug busts

Ten drug suspects were arrested by members of the Quezon City Police District in operations undertaken by its various precincts.

Operatives of the La Loma police station arrested Ryan Valenzuela Sarmento, 35; and Brandon Agunat Verzosa, 27, both residents of Caloocan City at about 2 a.m. Saturday along A. Bonifacio Avenue, corner Dorotea Road in Barangay Balingasa, Quezon City.

Sarmento and Verzosa yielded a gram of marijuana when they were confronted by patrolling cops. Also taken from them were a saw and a hammer.

The Fairview police station took custody of a 16-year old male minor following a drug sting on Friday along Camaro Street in Barangay Fairview. Seized from him was five grams of shabu with a street value of P34,000.

Galas Police Station collared Jerald Lopez, 26, from Sampaloc, Manila, at about 10 p.m. Friday. He turned over two grams of shabu worth P13,600.

Also, the Eastwood police station arrested Lemuel Lagudor Udarbe, 38; and Eric Oarde Cudiamat, 43; both residents of Pasig City. They were playing cara y cruz but yielded shabu when frisked.

Meanwhile, the Payatas Bagong Silangan police station collared Ronald Apostol, 41; Maximo Morcillo Carlos, 51; and Tiburcio Cerbito Acedera, 48, all residents of Barangay Payatas B. Confiscated from them were three grams of shabu valued at P20,400.

Also nabbed in front of a supermarket in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay was Kimberly Ruth Gutierrez, 25, for possession of two grams of shabu.
