Shaira Diaz may have surprised herself in the film Without You.
While a premise has not been provided on the said RC de los Reyes-helmed project, Diaz hinted that it’d be tad sexier than Because I Love You, her first film with co-star David Licauco.
“Sweet sweet-an lang kami before but in Without You, naging version 2.0 na,” Diaz told Daily Tribune.
The film will showcase their different sides as actors, she added. “We discovered that we could do this, that we are also fit to do heavy drama and scenes that are a little sexy.”
Premiere date of Without You has yet to be announced.
Diaz just finished her stint in GMA Network’s successful action-adventure series Lolong, which was renewed for a second season.
“I am humbled. We weren’t expecting the outcome of Lolong. From the very start kasi sinubok kami niyan. But the ratings of it made it all very rewarding. Ten-fold ang balik sa’min,” she said.
The 27-year-old addressed the show’s loyal viewers for their support.
“The team is happy and grateful with all the comments and feedback. Salamat kasi hindi sila bumitaw,” she added.
For now, Diaz is busying herself with studies, and iBilib and Unang Hirit hosting duties.
“I don’t know how I’m able to do it. I think the key, though, is time management. To be honest, it’s difficult but gusto ko makatapos nag pag-aaral.”
