Two kings are serving fresh offerings to satisfy their court.
At last, chicken Burger King has finally heeded to the calls of chicken lovers.
The home of the flame-grilled whopper is introducing Chicken King, its fresh take on the classic chicken sandwich.
Made with crispy golden whole muscle chicken thigh, Chicken King is marinated in various spices with hefty portions of fresh tomatoes and lettuce wraps. It is also topped with creamy mayonnaise dressing that gives the sandwich a sumptuous bite. These are altogether sandwiched between soft buttery potato buns.
“As you have noticed for the past two years, we have tried our hand at introducing more products to the menu. It’s really combining it with the excitement and hunger of the young target audience with something new to try and adventurous to experience at home,” Carol Santos, Burger King Philippines brand manager, said.
Chicken King isn’t to be confused with the burger chain’s initial chicken offering, the Xtra Long Chicken. Though consumers have yet to see if the former will also have a plant-based option.
She said, “Chicken King is maybe for the indulgent occasion that you would want to treat yourself or experience something extra.”
Chicken King is currently available in all Mega Manila, Pampanga, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna and Bulacan Burger King restaurants from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stocks will be replenished imminently.
“In a few months’ time there will be something. You can only expect more products from us,” Santos added.
National Siopao Day
For the upcoming National Siopao Day on 22 August, Chowking is taking its celebration up a notch with a Buy 1 Take 1 promo for its bestselling Chunky Asado Siopao.
Its soft, fluffy bun is filled with Hong Kong-style meat filling that has undergone a meticulous slow-roasting process to achieve its roasted flavor and is infused with a generous amount of sauce to satisfy everyone’s cravings.
On the day, customers may head over to their favorite Chowking branch, log on the Chowking delivery website, visit the Chowking app or order from delivery platforms from 2 to 4 p.m.
